NEW YORK CITY -- Helen Kinlaw Womack, 73, died July 5 at Nightingale Medical Center in New York City.
The native of Hardeeville attended Beaufort and Charleston County, S. C.,schools. She was a graduate of ICS Catholic School in Charleston and lived in New York for more than 50 years.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Douglas Womack of New York; two daughters, Gunnell Bennett and Carletta W. William of Hardeeville; a brother, Walter F.Kinlaw of Hardeeville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services for James B. Womack, 63, a retired employee of the Chevrolet plant of General Motors Corp. in the Town of Tonawanda, were held today in St. John's AME Church, Niagara Falls. Burial was in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport.
Womack, of Crego Road, Akron, died Thursday (April 1, 1993) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst.
A native of Fayette, Ala., he served in the Army during the Korean War.
Womack worked for 30 years at the Chevrolet plant before retiring in 1984.
Survivors include his wife, the former Carol Hayes; two sons, Richard of Tucson, Ariz., and Myles of Alaska; three daughters, Deborah Womack and Anna Belle Womack, both of Akron, and Alice Gardner of Lockport; and three grandchildren.

He was born in Darlington Heights, Virginia on July 6, 1927. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Womack; his sister, Inez Womack, and niece, Sylvia Latimer (Benjamin). Viewing will be held 10:30-12 noon on Friday, July 9, 2004 at Bethel Baptist Church, One Fisher Court in White Plains, NY. Funeral Service to follow at 12 noon. Philadelphia, PA: May 4, 2012. Born March 24, 1992 in Rochester, NY. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her sister Lydia Spillane. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Womack; father Dr. Kenneth Womack, her two sisters Margaret and Alyssa; Alyssa's husband Michael Ferrigno, their son, Jake and many beloved family and friends at Eastman School, Curtis Institute of Music, and the Perlman Music Program.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Monday, January 28, 2002, at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2002, at C.A. Reid chapel 3 p.m., with Rev. Clarence Grier officiating.
Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Ms. Womack, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y. was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Clark Hill, S.C.
Survivors are sister-in-law, Louise Middleton; nine nieces and four nephews; cousins, Mrs. Katie Thurmond, Mr. Henry Boyd, Mrs. Rosalee Merriweather; dear friend, Mr. Louis Todino; a host of other relatives and grieving friends.
The family will assemble at 2:45 p.m., at the funeral home.

William B. Womack, 91, of 21st Street died Tuesday (Oct. 22, 1996) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.
Born in Greenville, Ala., he moved to Niagara Falls in 1953.
Womack worked for the former Kane auto dealership for 17 years until retiring in 1970. He was a maintenance man for New Hope Baptist Church in Niagara Falls for many years until becoming disabled in 1990.
Womack was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he served on the deacon board.
He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and working on cars.
Womack is survived by a daughter, Katie; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Hope Baptist Church, 1122 Buffalo Ave. Burial will in Riverfalls , Ala.
