ALFRED “MACK” WOMACK,   Feb. 20, 1915 – Jun. 15, 2005  Delaware   African / American

Alfred "Mack" Womack, son of the late Tommy Lee Womack and Ida Mae Womack, was born February 20, 1915, in Halifax County, Va. He departed this life Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at the home of his daughter, Sandra.

Mack leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Mary Louise Womack; six sons, William, Issac, Robert, Armar, Trent and Hank; two devoted daughters, Irma and Sandra; one devoted nephew, Melvin Womack; one devoted granddaughter, Priscilla Womack; 15 other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Albert Hopkins and Wendell Grinnage; two daughters-in-law, Ida Mae Womack and Deborah Womack; one brother-in-law, Edward H. Perkins, Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Garrett and Helen Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

A funeral service was held June 23 at Dale U.M. Church, Middletown

ORIN DALE “SONNY” WOMACK,    April, 22, 1960 – Jul. 21, 2008    

Orin Dale “Sonny” Womack, 48, of Millsboro, formerly of Kutztown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2008, at his residence.

He was born in Dunedin, Fla., the son of the late, Mora D. and Anita (Attaway) Womack. He was currently employed for the City of Rehoboth Beach, as part of the building and grounds crew. He was formerly employed by Tilcon, and George and Lynch, Inc., of Delaware and Schlouch, Inc., of Pennsylvania. “Sonny” served as a Merchant Marine and is a lifetime member of the Perry Township Game Association.
Mr. Womack enjoyed his American Indian Heritage. He was part Narragansett and also part Cherokee Indian. “Sonny” also enjoyed his family and friends, sport fishing, hunting, beach combing, boating and wood-carving.
“Sonny” is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ann M. Womack; his brother, Robert Scott of Bell, FL; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Miriam M. and Richard D. Kline of Shoemakersville, PA.
Services and burial were private.
